Nets' perimeter defense was atrocious in the preseason, and it continues to be atrocious.

I don't know if I want to predict full standings but my only hot take is thinking the Mavs will underperform. Guess we'll see how much of that system's success was Carlisle.

Also would bet on the Clippers making the playoffs, they're not in the top four conversation but the roster is still solid enough and they have a good enough coach to be fine as long as there aren't any more major injuries.
