That’s a good one. Fangraphs has both the Brewers and Cards at 79 wins at the top of the division. You could make the argument that a team in the central gets lucky and beats up on everyone in the division but I don’t know all those teams are just so bad. I’d go with 100 wins for LA and SD.

I don't spend too much time in the MLB thread, and the Red Sox are doing everything in their power to make sure that stays true. I hate so much about this Benny trade and that's before even re-signing JBJ. Ugh. Go Padres.

 

Ya know, in the end this was a great offseason, but the optics does feel a little curious. We can't get outbid on every single free agent, big or small, and then feel like a big shot money team.
