Yanks are getting to a WS at least twice in the next five years (probably more often) and winning at least once, that's my prediction. AL roadblock is clearing up. White Sox, Rays and As are good teams don't get me wrong but they're not on the same level as the Trashtros or the Mookie Red Sox or even Cleveland at their 2016/17 peak or the Rays teams we've seen the last two years. Chicago could surprise me with how quickly they're dominant but right now it's New York's pennant to lose I think

 

Also friendly reminder that New York has been borderline cursed with injuries. Now there's no guarantee that goes away but come on how could it possibly not be a little better? (Yanks fans don't hate me if this is a jinx please)

Closers and goalies literally can’t win

 

Counter argument is right now the Yankees #2 starter is Jordan Montgomery. While I’m sure they are going to be the favorite in the AL East again and will add more pitching before the season starts they are really thin pitching wise. And like you said in your other post the team is always getting hurt. Some of it is bad luck and some because they have injury prone players.

Yankees have a good best case if Sevy comes back healthy and Deivi and Jordan reach their potential. It also could easily all go worst case and fall off a cliff too, so idk lol
