Swear I'm not trolling but is KB for sure a better option than JD Davis at this point? Defensively for sure and maybe that's what they care about, but I'm really not sure KB is 100% still a better hitter. Sure he's been dogged by injuries but there's no guarantee that just stops, especially since he'd be headed to the Mets haha

But as putrid as it'd be for the Cubs to ditch KB, damn that'd make that Mets lineup even more fun

the NL East could be reaaaaaally fun (and real anxiety inducing if youre a fan of a team in that division) this season.

 

The thought of just about any power bat in New York gets me excited for the possibilities lol. I would have loved that. I hope Washington is a good fit for Schwarber. 2019 was a really good step for him and it seems like 2020 was a big step backwards. I have seen a few MLB regulars with good potential who took a huge step back in 2020 and I think it’s safe to assume we’ll see quite a few bounce back years in 2021.

 

He should’ve went to the AL so he could DH, oh well. At least he can keep his beard.

 

Rumor going around based on a DR news outlet's reporting that SD is close to signing Tatis for 11/320. I'm pretty suspicious of that though
