Crazy how many outs they made trying to steal but then Dodgers SS misplays one and runner moves up so it's like... can ya fault them? Imagine if he is safe on that stealing home? Changes the game IMHO. Ballsy and nearly paid off. I'm not counting them out yet. Fun to watch but jesus christ make some contact boys.

I guess it’s only fitting that the dodgers finally get to win one considering the 2017 stuff, the fact that they keep winning the division over and over, a 32 year drought, and the billions of dollars they’ve spent over the last 10 years to buy wins.

It’s only the Rays second pennant in their 22 years and as long as they’re able to develop pitching at the elite level, retain some of their better players, and (please!) call up Hernandez, Brujan, and Franco asap then we should be in a good position for a few years to make another run. And for the love of god please spend some actual money on a veteran hitter or two (thinking of the Morton deal but for some proven bats).

Just can’t have the offense be this bad on nights when the pitching isn’t perfect like last night, even when outhitting opponents.

lmfao. Yeah the Brewers have just been not winning Championships for 50 years because they are waiting for the right one to come along.

 

The Rays are going to be a powerhouse for years to come. Imaging winning the pennant and still having the best farm system lol. Imo the Rays and Dodgers are very similar in that they are top of the league in player development. The difference, of course, being that the Dodgers spend, though their payroll has a ton of flexibility going forward even with signing Mookie, so they can continue creating monsters while making smart signings.

I really wish the Rays did the bare minimum with signing players whether they be FAs or young stars. That the Rays are so good despite their owner is amazing; I’d love to see how good the Rays could be if they spent at a normalish level

I know, Neander is literally doing all he can with the stranglehold Stu has on the budget

he and his team are scouting the right people, making the right trades, drafting at a pretty solid clip, and yet there just isn’t enough to get them there yet. Resigning Travis d’Arnaud should’ve been a no brainer.

 

I mean guys they are two wins away from a World Series win.
