I can't believe there's like ... a sorta game thing I can watch today at 4pm that ... feels ... weird.

 

Yeah so...not so fast with the whole "season" thing

 

I heard about this last week on the Dan Patrick show

But they can host 12 NHL teams for 2 months because Canada

 

I get what you're saying but I don't think it's the same thing at all

 

Because of the difference in teams they would be playing?

 

Because the NHL is supposed to be doing two "bubbles" in Toronto and Edmonton a la the NBA in Orlando. So there wouldn't be cross-border travel except to get the teams to Canada and then when teams go home after being eliminated/when it's over. Very different than a baseball season where you have the Jays going back and forth as well as 5-7 teams coming from the US to play in Toronto at least once or whatever

 

Look we shouldn't be having sports at all probably so I'm not gonna shit on the Canadians for wanting to stop cross-border travel for baseball games from like the leading coronavirus hot spot nation

 

So ... go Yanks? LOL. This feels so weird to actually see the intro on YES again.

I know it’s weird, but this feels like baseball to me. The chatter and game at least. I like it.
