More teams should be named after spiders and snakes

 

There’s definitely gonna be stretches where mlb rosters have at least 10 dudes who have never played a major league game, they might be lucky they only play 50 games instead of more. Should just cancel the season.

Agreed. It’s a shame I see so many people from my hometown up in arms over this. a few years back I was naive and stupid and took an ‘indifferent’ stance on the logo because of being torn by my ‘childhood memories’ but I’ve tried to learn and become more aware since that.
At the end of the day, if you are not the one who would find it offensive it’s easy to have a bias opinion. We don’t get to make that call if it’s offensive or racist or not. Some people in Cleveland may not find it so, but others do and that counts. It’s very easy to deem something not racist when you are not the race effected.

The Indians had names before the Indians, and they’ll have names after it too. And I’m all for a better name.
