He did and worked as a mental skills coach for a few years with the Diamondbacks before trying to make a comeback this year with a spring training invite from the Rockies

Mike Leake would rather shoplift at Belk and Macy’s than play baseball.

  13. New York Yankees top prospects for 2020: No. 1 Jasson Dominguez analysis
It’s been almost a year since The Martian landed. By that, I of course mean the Yankees’ signing of Jasson Dominguez, a prodigious talent and the team’s top prospect. Caldera reviews the scouting report on Dominguez (outstanding) and projections (“a switch-hitting Mike Trout”), and walks away with the impression that he indeed should become a star.

    Someone hose me down.

I'll never forget when the Braves traded David Justice and Marquis Grissom to the Indians for one season of Kenny Lofton. Devastating!

Effectively wild had Trey Harris on not too long ago and they talked extensively about the death of affordable youth leagues in favor of expensive travel ball and how it’s now one of the few ways to be seen at a young age. This post hits literally too close to home as these are the actual fields I grew up playing on before I gave up the sport for good around 12.

I have not been back to that part of Sarasota in so long and it’s sucks to hear that they, along with the kids who want to play in that area, have been all but forgotten.

Definitely gonna find a way to throw some money and support behind him and his efforts once/if he makes the initiative public and accessible.

One of the best posts I've read from an athlete this year and honestly the "from an athlete" qualifier isn't even necessary. Thanks for sharing

Didn’t realize until now that summer camp will be some prospects’ first time in their team’s major league park
