Just watched this morning’s Dino’s/Twins game. Holy crap, what a game! I was already leaning towards being a Twins fan because of Yong-Taik Park (41 year old who is KBO’s all-time hits leader), but this definitely sealed the deal for me. Let’s go Twins!

Yeah they could've been like 2006 Cardinals, a team that was not great but had some elite players and got hot at the right time down the stretch

 

not currently watching tonight’s last dance episodes but I recently learned that MJ also played in the Arizona Fall League after his season at AA and hit considerably better. By all accounts from teammates, coaches, and opponents, he improved a lot throughout the season and into the fall league. What an insane achievement.

In OOTP if you enable storylines about once every 2-3 years there will be one at the end of a season about a former player who's running for congress and honestly Doolittle's one of the few ballplayers that could do that in real life and I wouldn't hate it

 

Doolittle and Giolito are two players whose politics are good. There might be others as well but those two are fairly vocal
