The Phillies have a pitcher from Russia in their system, Anton Kuznetsov. From instagram, it seems like he arrived to minor league spring training as things hit the fan. I sent him a message in Russian expressing how much the situation sucks and he was receptive to it, essentially saying “it sucks and it is what it is”

StL immediately implemented the CDC recommendations with a gathering ban so even if MLB games start before mid May they will be spectatorless at least at Busch

I watched this intently this morning hahah

 

I held my breath. I cheered. I cried.

 

I expect more from the Rays as it becomes clear that this is gonna be a “long haul” situation, but it’s a start at the very least. They can do better.
