Just postpone the season till May or something. It’s already way too long

trying to think about realistically, what could happen with baseball. if you delay the start of the season even 2-3 weeks, you're playing the world series on thanksgiving. Nobody wants that. Do you play a shorter season? Do you eliminate the all-star break to get a week back? do they take less days off?

 

you could see a LOT of scheduled day/night double headers i suppose
