it’d be amazing to have this kind of access during the regular season, it’d span so many great memes and viral clips, but nooooo way would that ever happen

 

The mic is great during spring but I doubt any team would be cool with it during games that matter. Wait until someone fucks up a play cause they were hamming it up for tv lol

 

idk, personally am kinda over players being mic'd up in any sport. i would hate to see it in a regular season ballgame. too much of a distraction if you have someone like matt vasgersian yammering in your ear all goddamn night.

 

simple: get rid of matt vasgersian

 

The split screen is annoying tho. I don't like it in any sport during interviews though. Let me see the game.

 

And who exactly will campaign against baseball's biggest issue, bachelorette parties at games?

 

all i can think of is the sunday night mets/braves game last season when they had hank aaron in the booth and for like 45 minutes we barely saw a single shot of the game. if you need to heavily feature things in your games the problem probably lies within your broadcast itself.

Lol truly a low point for the sport

 

Given that I am scheduling part of my bachelor party around a Rockies game, I take exception to that lol.

 

As a Dodger fan I am spoiled - Joe Davis and Orel Herisher is the best broadcast team around. If you can’t have Vin anymore, it’s as good of a replacement as you can ask for.

 

Yeah, Gary Keith & Ron (Mets) are about as good as it gets - Michael Kay is fine, i just think he's corny as hell, but he calls a fun game with Paul ONeil and the others from time to time.

 

I’ve liked the A’s booth when I’ve listened the last couple seasons. Dallas Braden is fun. The White Sox booth is great, Cubs as well. Padres is decent.

 

One of the White Sox guys is an occasional guest on Effectively Wild. He seems like he would be a good listen in a game setting

 

do Dodger fans like Molly Knight? I feel like she would be a fun feature in the booth from time to time, but she seems crazy opinionated on twitter, and not the kind that I think most fans would be entertained by lol

 

Jason Benetti is amazing. He does a lot of national broadcast work too, mostly college basketball I think

 

I feel like most hardcore fans do because of the book she wrote after the Guggenheim acquisition and Friedman getting hired.

I think Alana Rizzo dominates a lot of the on field coverage so it may be a challenge to feature another prominent female reporter.
