Spring Training for pitchers is generally all about getting a feel for your pitches. Gotta think that Cole was tinkering with some things and knows what doesn’t work.

 

I didn't see that Cole start but everything I read said he was basically just throwing his fastball

Watching the Marlins preseason game and having someone mic'd up on the field and the booth talking to them is really weird. Have they done this before?

yeah it’s been a theme lately in spring training. We’ve got some good clips out of it, like KB being tired on a foul ball or Freddie Freeman hustling out a blooper while mic’d up and commenting on it. Also happens during the ASG at least last year

Yeah, it's pretty interesting. Hah, the "shit" when he hit a groundball to second was funny. I would be super annoyed at them talking to me the whole time though. Like sometimes I'd be like "shut up for five minutes."
