I'm personally pulling for a Brewers - Winner of the AL WC (but not Cleveland) World Series

 

If/when we are eliminated I'll be rooting for the Rays and the Brewers in that order

 

I'll be genuinely shocked if anyone other than the Astros comes out of the AL though

 

honestly the most important thing is that the nationals lose the WC game and their tenure of being the leagues cockiest team with absolutely nothing to back it up continues. dont wanna see trey turner enjoy any successes.

 

yanks/astros ALCS seems inevitable and yeah, i dont think the yankees can match them

 

It'll never happen but Twins-Dodgers would be cool if the Twins won bc then the Dodgers would have lost the WS to a team from each division in three consecutive years

 

Yanks/Astros ALCS and, most likely Dodgers/Braves NLCS though I'd like to see brewers but they're gonna get the Dodgers in the DS if they don't catch the division.

 

I don't think the Braves have the pitching to make a deep run personally

 

Young? Fun? The Rays are what you’re looking for.

 

I don't hate the Dodgers but I'm sick of seeing them as the NL team every year. Let us get killed by the Astros instead.

 

NL seems to go in cycles where it's represented by the same team or two over and over again...us four times in nine years, the Giants three times in six years, Phillies back to back in 08/09, now the Dodgers back to back

 

Nats with the rare five game sweep of the Phillies to put them under .500 going into the last weekend

 

We’ve come a long way.

 

Boston has 5 runs and Mike Minor is working on 120+ pitches in the 9th

And there was just a foul popup with 1 out in the 9th and Minor told the 1B to drop it so he could try for 200 strikeouts

The weirdness of having nothing to play for lol

Lol no need to apologize I was legitimately confused cuz I scrolled through scores earlier and though I saw that Boston lost. After what you said I figured maybe the game was still going and I was losing it.

 

Haha I admit I thought it was live when I posted. I'm tired and wasn't thinking too hard about time zones, I now realize it is indeed too late to be sunny in Texas hahaha

So the Rays just need to win 2 and they’re in

Or win 1 and hope the Nats can win 1

I hope the Nats don’t rest all their best players since they have already cemented their place in the playoffs.
