Yeah his further tweets in the thread say Vasgersian may be replaced too. ARod could be better with the right booth. I think I just like him better when he does straight analysis as opposed to filling three hours

Still blows my mind just how much face time they give the booth. Such a terrible broadcast. I think I see Michael Kay for a total of 5 minutes max during a YES game lol

 

Definitely need to keep Strom, everyone else can go

 

Just let local broadcasters call the games and put it on 2 of the 10 ESPN channels

 

Give me more dugout and bullpen footage/interactions and less of the press box

The ESPN statcast broadcast for the wild card games was extremely good. Benetti/Petriello/Perez are a great crew

 

Yeah if they could find a way to do those broadcasts regularly throughout the season I would definitely watch those games.

 

I’m stunned to learn that Dusty Baker is only 70. It feels like he was 70 like 15 years ago.

 

I don't mind ESPN's weeknight baseball broadcasts as long as Sutcliffe isn't there. Sciambi is usually pretty good and so is Shulman. Vasgersian is a million times better as a studio host where he doesn't need to scream anytime something mildly exciting happens. He got so bad when he got the ESPN job.

man, Moose & Maggie on WFAN NY afternoon show is a bruuuutalll listen. They are a terrible pair. Cannot bear to listen to them just bicker all afternoon.

 

it's better than CMB, but yeah it's not the best. I feel like Maggie's a great personality but she hasn't really been clicking with anyone else. She did a decent job with Bart, but Bart is 100% an ESPN guy. I think she'd do better on her own.
