Astros should’ve lost the title and pennant, that was such a slap on the wrist they got. Like this was an organized effort to straight up cheat and they cheated their way to a title, what’s the precedent then going forward if you’re just gonna let a team get a pretty light punishment when management and players were both complicit in said cheating and they earned a title for it? Fuck the MLB for lacking a spine

 

Losing draft picks is gonna hurt them. They certainly know how to draft top talent. Not sure the punishment is good enough though.

 

If I was a betting man and had money to throw around I would bet that Cora is fired. Ron Roenicke (current Sox bench coach) manages the team in 2020 with Jason Varitek taking over as manager in 2021 after being the bench coach in 2020.
