I mean Cora is a clear link, not that I would absolve all teams but it's not like this is a "hmmm maybe it's all teams" moment lol

i dunno. i still find it naive to believe that its only the Sox, Yanks, and the Astros.
if the booth is truly two feet away from the dugout, i'd bet my bottom dollar more players around the league sneak in there for a quick look.

I think it would've been nice if they were going for a potential third straight Yankees-Dodgers WS this year

Edit: 3rd in 4 years I mean whoops

All the time anytime netting gets brought up. Cause ya know, it's easy for regular people to deflect 100 mph line drives as long as you pay full attention

The “keep your eyes 100% on the game at all times or else you deserve to get hit by a line drive” must be incredibly isolated people. Imagine going to a game not speaking to the person you came with or maybe making friends with the people around you, necessitating turning around at some point.

Also, the most expensive seats in every stadium are behind netting. People who sit literally behind home plate don’t seem to mind.

I was nervous as hell taking my 5 year old to a AAA game last season. We ended up buying seats directly behind home plate because I knew their would be netting

You’re not a real fan if you take your eyes off the game for a single second. You can’t:
    -look at your phone
    -look at the scoreboard
    -go to the bathroom
    -buy anything from a vendor
    -sneeze

The white Sox had extended netting then after this happened they extended it from foul poll to foul poll

There's a joke in there about how there wasn't anyone in the stands at guaranteed rate to protect anyway, but I'm not gonna make it because I generally like the white sox and they're gonna be good this year.

Plus when I lived near Chicago in 2018 I got second row seats to a cards-white sox game for $15 on stubhub and it was awesome. Cards won 14-3 or something like that

I still haven't been to GRF. Been meaning to because tickets are super cheap but it's kind of a drive to Chicago and I also hate fireworks (yet I tolerate the terrifying pyro the Brewers set off before the bottom of the first).

Sox games are pretty great. Cheap tickets, easy to get to off the highway or by train from the city. Fantastic food. I haven’t been in ages but I lived at the park in the summers as a kid
