I dunno the more I refresh my memory about Kinsler's career the more I think he's Hall-worthy. Still don't think he'll make it in though, regardless of whether he actually should or not

what do you mean so low? since '06, when they started, they're 15th and 16th in WAR for batters.

 

Jeff Kent had better career numbers than both of them and they're not gonna put him in the hall. Also, if Lou Whitaker can't make the HOF with a 70+ WAR then you can shut down any Kinsler and Pedroia talk immediately.

Chase Utley is the only retired second baseman from the past 15 years that gets in, IMO. And even he will take a few ballots. Cano was probably on his way, but he complicated his case with the suspension.

Personally, I feel like the bar for a HOF second baseman was set by Ryne Sandberg and Roberto Alomar.
