This is why I haven’t been too upset with most of the departures. The team wasn’t very good last year and it took a magical run in September for them to make the wild card game. Grandal and Moustakas weren’t coming back and they had to cut bait with some of their more expensive, middling players, especially the pitchers. Cain also underperformed offensively last year and I imagine Hiura is projected to do more

I have no idea what they’re going to do with the extra money, though.

 

I can't wait for the year that I don't hear about the Yankees being interested in Schwarber

sad to see kinsler go. such a fun player to watch. so underrated, too. From '06-'19, he's 15th in fWAR for all hitters.

 

Read he's tied for 140th overall ever, if you're in the top 150 you did pretty well I'd say hah.
