I suppose it should be uplifting to think that many people had Rays getting swept. Rays still need to acquire a consistent hitter who can help to extend innings or do damage with runners on. Too many innings in which cole barely had to work.

 

They got some good swings on Cole early, but good swings don't always lead to hits. Let alone a string of them. Anyway, that's the best pitching staff the Astros are gonna face this postseason. If they don't win the World Series, it'll be because they've choked. I don't wanna watch the Yankees in the World Series so they better get it done.

Hopefully the Rays starting pitching stays healthy next season. That's two years in a row the Rays have had to bullpen their way to a winning season out of necessity.

 

Got tickets for game 2, can’t wait.

In the abstract yes but if we can get past the Nats I like our chances better with the Yanks

Yup I'm all in on rooting for astros. I have nothing against a great team, just adding another ring.

The rest of the teams....eh. I don't have a hatred for the nationals really. They're allowed to win I guess.

I'll go yankees in 6, cards in 5 though because.

The Nats are pretty likesble and I’ve followed Strasburg for a while but if they win the “LOL Bryce Harper” will be so annoying so I kind of hope they don’t even advance
