I feel like the Padres are in that spot comparable to the Astros when they transitioned from Bo Porter to Hinch

they need to hire someone that connects with the younger players and keeps a good pulse on the clubhouse

I would think the Mets are pretty desirable, with that starting rotation and with pieces of Alonzo, McNeil and Conforto.

the Wilpons are what is not desirable about the Mets.

I honestly think Joe Girardi would resign after a month if he had to work for the Wilpons

as far as a manager is concerned, the Mets will hire the biggest yes-man. Brodie runs the show. I fully believe he has communications with the dugout during the game, and the sooner he's busted for that the sooner he can be gone too.

    Great Googly Moogly Prestigious

Cubs, mets, Padres, giants, Angel's, royals, pirates. phillies*

Most desirable? Yeah maybe Padres is the answer. A team that feels like it's on the brink. Easy fanbase. So cal. My only question is the front office willing to keep going after they signed machado.

Cubs because they are most willing to spend. Smart gm.

I think the giants are on the decline. But they have that cardinals black magic too.

Mets have a great team but terrible owners and a harsh fanbase.

    sorry, forgot phillies. nah

No way on the other 3 teams.

No matter what happens tonight, I'm proud of the Rays. It was fun following them this year and I hope tonight isn't the end.

The Dodgers and Astros being bounced out in the first round would be cosmic justice

I’ve never really thought of Mets fans being harsh. The NY media though, they make life difficult.

I thought you liked watching the Astros?

Or maybe that was someone else’s power rankings earlier in the year. If so, disregard.

I do! The Astros are a great, extremely watchable team with a lot of fun players. But there’s some sort of kismetic quality to two 106+ win teams losing early. And I really like this Rays squad

gotcha, I think this rays series has been one of the toughest in the last 3 years. Rays pitching is insane and they are getting to showcase it.

Two former Pirates going head to head tonight, with potentially another in CFM

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

If that happens I guess MLB will just have to cancel the playoffs since it won't be the proper champion

I thought we were just gonna advance both teams right to the WS since nobody else had a chance lol

Cole hasn’t lost a game since like May and I have no confidence in this game tonight

whoever wins tonight deserves the hell out of it
