flaherty has missed badly several times this game. couple innings ago he had a pitch that the pitch tracker showed as landing about six feet in front of the plate. and then he had one sail up pretty high before too

 

Legit wanted anyone other than Freddie up there.

 

I didn't mind Flaherty in the game in the fifth. But I don't understand why he's going to pitch the sixth or just batted there.

 

Yea this is dumb as hell, Shildt is an unimpressive manager

 

I like Shildt and Flaherty's not going to pitch until game three (provided this holds, of course), but yeah, I don't get it.
