Maybe the most shocking nominations I've ever heard. Literally.

Also is this The 1975's first Grammy nom? Feels overdue.

  8. My only Grammy take is that Billie eilish should sweep the major four categories

And that big thief should win best alt album

The fact Sir isn't nominated for anything R&B is a travesty. Dude is the most underrated R&B singer of the last 3 years no doubt. I think Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Billie will all get something which would be rad. New Vampire Weekend is trash wtf. Also hoping Tycho and Anderson Paak get some wins. Grammy's once again disappoint.

Why does Cage the Elephant keep getting Grammy recognition? The last couple of albums have not been very good. Hell, the album didn’t even crack the top 20 on the billboard chart.

I thought Social Cues and Tell Me I'm Pretty were good for what they were, but I wouldn't ever consider them being Grammy worthy, although there's a lot of stuff that gets nominated that I would say the same thing about.

Edit: I guess Tell Me I'm Pretty won Best Rock Album in 2017.

Surprised Taylor isn’t up for AOTY. Also, I would include Clairo as Best New Artist.

I thought Slipknot would have been nominated for something. New album was awesome.

Happy to see Vampire Weekend get their due too. Their album was AOTY worthy for me.
