The Indianapolis Colts select Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio St The Colts have picked a player in the first two rounds from Ohio St every year since Ballard has been the GM. Why stop now?
Pittsburgh selects Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue TE saw just about no production this passed season. McDonald is often hurt and no one behind him is guaranteed a spot on the team. I’d love to part ways with McDonald, pick up a free agent and still draft a pass catching TE early.
Chicago Bears select KJ Hamler, WR, Penn State The Bears desperately needs a bolt of lightning to wake up their offense. Trubisky took a step back but the team invested too much in him to give up this soon. Find him some playmakers and give him a chance to prove himself this year. Enter KJ Hamler. Dude can straight fly. And he's a pretty solid route runner. There is a slight concern with two little guys like him and Gabriel on the same team but Gabriel is certainly not good enough to keep a team from taking an explosive player like Hamler. Also, each season there is a trend that teams follow. The Super Bowl featured the two fastest offenses in the league. I think speed will be the 2020 trend and I expect Hamler to climb up the draft boards after his combine 40 time is posted.
The Dallas Cowboys select: Hunter Bryant - Tight End - Washington With Amari Cooper potentially bolting in free agency, the Cowboys have to do whatever it takes to get more weapons for Dak Prescott. Bryant is a matchup nightmare that can win in the slot, similar to Evan Engram.
