This is how I think Ballard is going to approach the Colts’ QB situation. I don’t think they’ll find enough value in any of the guys not named Burrow or Tua to take them at 13 with at least one blue chip guy likely still on the board, but then they’ll trade up into the first round to get a 5th year option on whichever of these second-tier guys is *their guy*. My preference of the Love/Eason/Fromm group is still on the board so I grab him here

i think I have vocally hated every QB in this grouping at least once lol. It’s karma that I’m probably rooting for one of them next year

I didn’t like Eason as a college QB and correctly thought he would put up worse numbers than 2018 Fromm and to temper expectations (although I also thought 2019 Fromm would be better than he was), but I think he projects better as an NFL QB than Fromm or Love

 

Eason has a higher ceiling. Fromm is going to be a very good backup. Eason may be bad but he also could be a starter.

 

Yes and the Colts already have a high floor, low ceiling QB option
