With the 5th overall pick, the Cincinnati Bengals select, Ja'Marr Chase, WR, LSU Ja'Marr Chase + Tee Higgins + Tyler Boyd gives Jeaux Burreaux an insane set of weapons. Offensive line should be top priority for them but with Sewell off the board, you gotta go BPA, especially when it's Burreaux's former WR1. It'll be one more year before Jeaux Brady can come to town but he'll inherit a dangerous offense. Idk just sign Trent Williams or some shit
The New England Patriots have traded Stephon Gilmore and Pick #142 to the Dallas Cowboys for Michael Gallup and Pick #75 CC: @CarpetElf
This has been a fun league lol. We started with a legends draft. @CarpetElf likes to import really fun and/or goofy draft classes for our franchise modes. I traded a bunch of players for draft picks in this draft and I took: ShakiraQuan TGIF Carter (elite receiving-style RB for change of pace cause the one problem with legend Fred Taylor is not great stamina/durability( LeCarpetron DookMarriott (a mauler LG with 89 speed for pull blocks) X-Wing At-Alliciousnes (Fast as hell coverage LB who can do man or zone) Ozmataz Buckshank (a 6’1” CB who is also stupid fast so I can replace speed-demon legend Daryl Green with somebody taller who can jump. I can’t afford Green I’m already paying Charles Woodson and Ronnie Lott lol) Sequester Grundelplith, MD (rotating defensive lineman, sucks, pretty sure he doesn’t have a single tackle lol)
My favorite madden drafted player ever is Xavier Di. He had 99 spd and acc but like 40 awareness lol I turned him into an awesome receiver though
Also, Cowboys don’t need 3 awesome receivers. Lamb and Cooper are a pretty dope combo and Gallup is in a contract season. Desperately need a CB. Gilmore is one of the best. They can tag him next year lol
Flipside, the Patriots secondary is pretty good still without Gilly and CB seems to be a position they can coach up. WR on the other hand? They can't coach that for shit so time to bring in some real talent to help Stafford get acclimated. Picking up 77 also kills the gap between pick #46 and whatever comp pick they get for Brady.
***TRADE ALERT*** Atlanta Receives: Picks 27, 168 (5th), 215 (6th) Baltimore Receives: Julio Jones, pick 36 (2nd)
Definitely want out of his contract, wanted to send him to an AFC team, and wanted to get back in the first. Check, check, check.
Yeah it's a -$200,000 loss this year. I'm fine with that. He's a 31 year old WR who can't stay healthy. Let the Ravens squeeze the last bit of blood from that stone.
