Falcons would LOVE to trade back here but because this is mock draft #1 and who cares: Atlanta Falcons select, Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Oklahoma
I would say that I listed the WR1 and WR2 of a team in the AFC championship game. I don't think they're complaining.
I will say I admitted that I was exaggerating. I just straight up would go the opposite direction with my WR strategy if I had my way. My preference is, you can teach route running, you can’t teach being a boss and ripping the ball down in double coverage. Especially when we already have Chark who can threaten with speed and elusiveness downfield, and Viska who is very shifty in the slot. But your draft here is more realistic to Urban’s scheme and style @CarpetElf thats just one of the things I didn’t like about Meyer
Cincinnati Bengals select Cameron McGrone, LB, Michigan I'm dipping into unscouted guys here but his description on the Draft Network site, plus his top 50 ranking and being easily BPA on their board, convinced me this is the right move for the Bengals here, who have struggled at LB despite constantly trying to address the position. I think they're finally onto something here with Germaine Pratt emerging last season and ADG + Logan Wilson. McGrone at worst gives them great rotating depth and at best becomes a really good playmaker for the Bengals.
Jacksonville Jaguars select, Osa Odighizuwa, DE, UCLA Osa was one of the biggest standouts of the senior bowl and fills a huge need for the Jaguars, especially as we convert to a 3-4. He's a solid run stopper and good athlete and can slide into one of our open DE spots, probably as an instant starter. The Jaguars defense, while horrendous, was also oft injured. This is our weakest position in our new alignment though so it's an easy pick.
