Back-to-back UCF DBs lol. But hey, anyone who has seen more than zero football games in their live knows Kevin King was an absolute disaster for the Packers in the NFCCG. @oncenowagain
The Buccaneers select: Jamie Newman - QB - Wake Forest/Georgia Tom Brady ain’t getting any younger, which is what this pick all comes down too. If the Bucs look to remain competitive once Brady likely hangs up the cleats after next season, they won’t be able to rely on the strength of their defense alone. Taking Newman in this draft may be one of the best options that the Bucs have of future proofing the QB position. Sure he sat out the 2020 season due to Covid-19 concerns, but Newman has all of the physical tools necessary to adapt to a pro-level vertical passing offense that boasts Evans and (hopefully) Godwin. Questions will remain about his ability to transition out of an RPO style offense, but what better way to better your game than riding the bench for the year in a low stress situation and learning from arguably the best QB to ever do it. @PeacefulOrca you’re up
All I know about Jamie Newman is somehow he ends up a long term starter in Madden and Fields, Lance, Trask, and Jones dont.
Saints would've traded for him if Mac Jones didnt fall lol Not going with Taysom Hill without some competition.
The Kansas City chiefs select Chaz Surratt, lb, tarheels The chiefs picked willie gay last year and they still lack a lot of depth at this position. It’s a group that is coached well but they lack a talented outside linebacker, especially one who can run and cover like surratt does. He needs to improve his strength and his bull rush but he’ll be a huge upgrade to umm, dorian daniel.
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami Kyle Pitts is getting 95% of the hype. Pat Freiermuth is getting the remaining 5%. But Brevin Jordan isn't far behind and deserves plenty of hype as well. Jordan is a do-it-all receiver for Miami. He played outside, slot, backfield, off the line - screens, wheels, streaks, etc... you name it. He doesn't have world beater speed but he plays strong and has surprising elusiveness at times; definitely plays bigger than 6'3". I would frankly be shocked if he fell this far but if he did, Urban Meyer is gonna need a sedative because he will be at an otherwise permanent full mast. Jaguars looking at a worst-to-first situation here ala McVay's LA Rams. QB - Trevor Lawrence RB - Najee Harris, James Robinson WR - DJ Chark, Laviska Shenault, D'Wayne Eskridge, Collin Johnson TE - Brevin Jordan, Tyler Eifert
The New York Jets select: Javonte Williams - Running Back - North Carolina RB1 for the Jets the moment they turn the draft card in. Outstanding fit in the Shanahan zone scheme.
Houston Texans select Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia. Fluid athlete, great tackler, BPA. Houston's defense is a mess and in this scenario the Texans kept Watson so they desperately need to give him some defense.
