    The rivalry is back on

I’ve learned to not get mad about Colts draft reaches because they happen every year and pan out about half the time

I would if I had the assets to do it...but I don't think I have enough to make a trade work

You can have 59+ a fifth round pick if you let me move up like three spots

This is.. exactly what I have to offer. #61 and the Raiders 5th. Bills cupboard is bare this year

  8. OL or CB?

  9. There’s much better value at IOL than CB.

Cleveland browns select Carlos boogie Basham, DL, Wake Forest

Already beefed up the edge on this team, knowing that the browns are similar to the niners scheme and go wide nine I think this would be a really solid pick. Basham didn’t have as good of a season this year as he did the last two but I still believe in the talent. It’s definitely not a flashy pick but when you’re facing the ravens twice a year you want to make sure you can fill in the gaps against the opposing teams offensive line to contain Lamar or josh allen.

Group pick for Seattle’s next pick or if someone wants to pick for them going forward that works too. I’m not gonna be able to have time to research who’s left and make the picks.

The Buffalo Bills select Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State.

Assuming that Matt Milano hits UFA, you guys helped plug that hole with the first Bills pick. There's still other needs, but as much as I want to see them go high for a CB opposite of Tre White or an OT (because Daryl Williams is probably walking too), I don't know that they will. McDermott has a long track record now of grabbing scrap-heap DBs and making them useful, and for his warts they do still seem relatively happy with Levi Wallace. So I'm going to one of the major holes on offense. John Brown will likely be a cap casualty this offseason, with Gabriel Davis moving up into the starting role opposite of Diggs, and I believe Cole Beasley is signed through 2021 (possibly 2022), so the WR corps is likely mostly set.

As mentioned with my Travis Etienne diatribe yesterday, my personal opinion is that a challenge that the Bills face now is combining ancillary role players where possible; they have too many "luxury" guys to keep if they're going to continue being a good team. While TE isn't the most glaring need, it is absolutely a need.

    2020 depth chart was:
Dawson Knox - Dropson. Makes spectacular catches look easy and routine catches look hard. Frequently nicked up. Would be much better in a #2 role IMO.
    Tyler Kroft - UFA
Lee Smith - Listed at 265, definitely closer to 305, more of an extra OL than a true TE, also likely a UFA, can be cut for $0 dead money
Tommy Sweeney - all season on PUP/Covid list; had myocarditis following his bout with Covid. I liked him as a rookie but to expect a 7th round pick to stick around long, especially after missing a year....idk about that.

Freiermuth would give the Bills a new element that they do still sorely need. Beane and McDermott had Greg Olsen on the team in Carolina, they know the damage that can be done with a really good TE. His scouting reports read like a good fit - he's got solid skills all around, and is a tough/willing blocker even with room for improvement there. No TE with any receiving skills will ever be a Lee Smith caliber blocker, but if this kid is roughly on par with Knox purely from a receiving standpoint, and on par with Kroft as a blocker, then it's a successful upgrade to the offense.

I barely watched any college football this year so I just started like, randomly picking guys at positions of need for the Bills and reading their scouting reports and I read his and decided "this is the way"

He was almost my Pats pick until I saw Moses available. Also, I still love Dawson Knox.

I've just reached that point where I accept that he's likely always going to the guy with minor injuries that is never able to play 16 games...and that he will probably always have the dropsies too. His ability to drop a perfectly placed pass when he's wide open, while making toe tap/diving/full extension catches look routine is truly amazing
