Watching what Jerry Jeudy did with Mac Jones as his QB changed my perception of him. He went from a finely tuned, polished great receiving prospect to an elite prospect. Lamb was schemed open by one of the most innovative playcallers of this era. That doesn't mean he can't and won't be great, but I think he will take some time to get there.
Los Angeles Rams select J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State No Gurley. A strong running game is necessary for this team to operate. Seems like the obvious choice here.
The Cleveland Browns select Prince Tega Wanogho, T, Auburn. Traded down and landed a good value fit at T. This pick totally justifies taking Brown in the first when the top four tackles went. Now the Browns have an extra third round pick to play with as well.
Seattle Seahawks trade picks 64 and 144 to Baltimore Ravens for pick 55 and 170 Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco. Kyler, Kliff, and Nuke in Arizona. The Seahawks are watching the emergence of two offensive juggernauts. So far in this draft they've beefed up their pass rush in efforts to slow these teams down. But they'll still need to put up points themselves. Seattle Seahawks select KJ Hamler, WR, Penn State Hamler is undersized but comes with serious speed. Lockett and DK outside with Hamler in the slot would be nearly impossible to cover with Wilson scrambling around forever. WR: Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, KJ Hamler, Phillip Dorsett RB: Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny TE: Greg Olsen, Will Dissly, Luke Wilson QB: Russell Wilson
Seahawks being aggressive this round but walking away with Epenesa, Gallimore, and Hamler is a huge win.
The Minnesota Vikings select: Jaylon Johnson - Cornerback - Utah Long, lengthy defensive back that projects best in a zone scheme.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select: Justin Madubuike - Defensive Tackle - Texas A&M Multiple tech lineman that should help immediately as a shade tackle and as a nose.
@CarpetElf Ravens and... well, we can skip the Titans if you want. Cause fuck them. Forfeit their pick.
Baltimore Ravens select Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech Tennessee Titans select Jeremy Chinn, S, Southern Illinois Green Bay Packers select Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota @Randall Mentzos you're up and then me again then you.
Jaylon Johnson is on my list of guys to actually follow next season. I think he’s going to be a stud.
