On one hand, that undersells Yannick a bit

On the other hand, Simmons is dope as shit and using him to rush and cover tight ends / jumbo slot receivers would be PERFECT for letting Jack and Schobert do what they do best. Simmons would also make for a great sub package LB or "enforcer" / robber strong safety when the opponent comes out in spread formations.

I like getting Simmons WAY more than what our options are at 9. If we had to give up picks to do it I'd rather stay put... but Yannick gives us extra mobility to get in better range to fill actual needs, if he can't net a first round pick straight up.

 

I think Giants get the better side of the trade but...

Jags are in a low leverage situation with Yannick because they suck. With this trade Jags get their guy.
