If either can potentially play LG I actually really like Lewis and John Simpson from Clemson as scheme-specific fits for the Bills. I just wouldn't want either of them at RG next to Cody Ford at RT, that would be a really slow footed pair on that side of the line. Ideally I'd still like Ford at guard as well but they seem content giving him another shot at RT
Baltimore Ravens select Trajan Bandy, CB, Miami New Orleans Saints select Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Missouri
I floated the idea of the Jags drafting Andrew Thomas (pick 9) and Damien Lewis (pick 116) and completing our line to Matt today. I think I like that just as much as stacking our defense.
Maaan I’ve talked about fixing that line to help Minshew so many times and you kept telling me defense was more important lol
I never argued with fixing our line. What I argued with was that WR needed to be addressed more urgently than defense. Which I still don’t agree with. This WR class is deep, im more worried if we exit Day 1-2 without a strong option at CB and DE, than I am if we don’t draft a WR on Day 1-2. But we literally ROTATED right guards cause neither one is a good starter, Cam Robinson has slow feet and isn’t good enough for an LT extension next year, and Norwell is overpaid. I’m definitely good with replacing RG right now. And I’m definitely good with addressing LT a year early, so we don’t have to make a desperation pick, or overpay a LT who isn’t that good in 2021. Norwell I’d be happy to give another year with better talent alongside him. Just to see if that chemistry brings back the All Pro - level performance that we signed him based off.
