I think the number of player trades we do during the draft is more unrealistic than that trade.

And also for the record, trade chart says the Cowboys first 3 picks are less than 150 points away from the value of pick 4

So the trade wasn’t actually horrible value. I get that it was with a rival but like, whatever. This is just a mock draft and Simmons is the only guy the Cowboys would get on Day 1 so it’s not like I gave them a lot of help. I’m also not Dave Gettleman, who fucking sucks at drafting lol

If we were somehow actually drafting next year too I would’ve taken the next year pick more seriously.

 

I’m interested in trading Carson Wentz and the Eagles first round pick to the Cowboys for Dak Prescott. Might throw in another pick or two as well. I mean, fuck it, am I right?
