Miami Dolphins select Alex Highsmith, EDGE, Charlotte Miami Dolphins select McTelvin Agim, DT, Arkansas
Carolina Panthers select Anfernee Jennings, EDGE, Alabama Panthers desperately need pass rushing help and Jennings is a versatile edge defender who could make an impact early on in his career. In this scenario he gets to team up with fellow Bama DL Raekwon Davis.
With back to back picks, the Philadelphia Eagles select Isaiah Coulter, WR, Rhode Island and Harrison Hand, CB, Temple. Eagles add interesting, promising depth at key positions as they could experience a good deal of turnover at both WR and CB by this time next year. Coulter and Hand likely won't be asked to start right away, especially Hand, but both could be looking at a starting job in year two with the Eagles. @Randall Mentzos is up for the Bengals and the start of round five
The Bangulls select Joe Bachie, ILB, Michigan State. It's round five and finally the value matched up at linebacker. Last guy on the board who's still potentially good enough to lead a defense a few years from now in my opinion. That dude was all over the damn field.
Carolina Panthers select Anthony McFarland Jr, RB, Maryland Carolina is building an offense full of speed. Anthony McFarland Jr brings the speed. This dude burns people. He has good vision and cuts on a dime. He's smaller and not anything close to a bruiser but he is certainly not scared of contact. A promising home run threat that should find a fun role on the Panthers.
He's gonna be real important when the Panthers call up Bill O'Brien to trade CMC and Teddy for Deshaun Watson
Detroit Lions select Jauan Jennings, WR, Tennessee Jennings is full of talent but was severely held back by the array of shitty QBs and coaches in Knoxville. He's well worth a shot at this point in the draft.
Really diggin this Panthers draft Ceedee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma Noah Ighinoghene, CB, Auburn Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah Anfernee Jennings, DE, Alabama Anthony McFarland Jr, RB, Maryland Took a risk by going WR in the first round but it ended up working out. I was still able to get some high ceiling defensive players, however they're all kinda boom or bust type guys. If two of them pan out along with Ceedee being a star then it's a great draft.
Giants select Keith Ismael, C, San Diego State. Giants need work on the OL and I kinda regret going BPA with Simmons and Gallimore in lieu of taking one of the upper offensive tackle talents. But I still ended up with a high potential smaller school guy at center. At worst he provides interior line depth. Weston Richburg didn’t work out and the Giants have no names I recognize at center to mash between Kevin Zeitler and Will Hernandez. They’re as good a team as any to take chances on Ismael and Trey Adams.
