I wasn’t trying to dump on @uuu about the pace of the draft/organization/oversight - no complaints on that front. Sorry if it came off that way.
Bengals select Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon Niang in round 3 and Lemieux in round 4 is a GREAT start to Joe Burrow’s offensive line. Got bargains on both imo. Those two plus Jonah Williams is plenty of young potential to farm a new offensive line in Cincinnati.
Damn man, always a terrible time for something like this but even worse now with everyone's anxiety already on overdrive. Sending good vibes your way my dude.
OK so going off NFL's draft needs: Biggest offseason needs Offensive tackle. Wide receiver. Interior offensive line. Cornerback. Linebacker. Tight end. Edge rusher. Safety. OT, CB, WR have been addressed with the first 3 picks + trade for Samuel so that leaves: IOL, LB, TE, Edge, Safety There's a couple of guys each at TE and Edge that would be good value/fit here but I guess that depends on whose rankings everyone uses
Not going to try to spell it without a reference up but I know who you mean. Edge there's also Alex Highsmith and Alton Robinson. Assuming they'll be moving to a 4-3 front like Carolina has had kind of takes Highsmith out of the running. Ben Brederson for IOL could be a fit too? I think any of those 3 would be good picks but totally open for discussion with anyone else, I know I'm not usually around for group picks
I think it's a good pick especially if they can't get Scherff to stay long term they're going to have to invest some sort of draft capital at the position. I couldn't even tell you who their LG or center is
Using this article as it was the "best" one I could find for needs since it was looking post-free agency: Resetting the Detroit Lions five biggest needs after free agency Terrell fills the CB need and Hamilton DT, so that leaves OG and WR.
Giants select Shaquille Quarterman, ILB, Miami Gives them a powerful presence on run defense they sorely lacked last year. Simmons and Quarterman improve these linebackers right away. Huge priority when switching to a 3-4.
