Leave me alone lol me and @CarpetElf were up til 4 AM madden drafting and I did not feel like getting out of bed early just to draft somebody again lol.

And then I came to the park because my muscles felt like they had already started to decay/atrophy last time I rode my bike so now I feel like it’s necessary to exercise more.

  3. Cleveland Browns select Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne

Cleveland signed Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo this offseason to address their safety need. Certainly serviceable but neither are game-changers. I think Kyle Dugger can be that game-changer. He is a modern day NFL defensive player. He can line up at either safety spot or even at LB. He can cover in man or in zone. He's great against the run. Very effective blitzer. Size, speed. He really is the complete package. The big concern is the level of competition he faced and his age. Most guys who come from D-II require a little more time to develop. Dugger is already 24 years old. So this could be a turnoff for some teams. However, I think Dugger is an exception to this thinking. He has all the attributes and talents to be a starting safety in the NFL. It's more so getting used to game speed. He may not breakout until year 2 but his ceiling is very high.

Well this pisses me off. Exactly who I've wanted to trade up for for the past, like, 10 picks. He's second round talent all the way and can immediately slot in at weakside LB or safety. The game speed concern is a reality coming from D2, but his athleticism will compensate right away for what he may be lacking in processing. Would have been perfect for the Ravens since Earl is old and we need help at ILB even after drafting Murray.

  5. Jedrick Wills, OT
    Lloyd Cushenberry III, C/G
    Malik Harrison, LB
    Jordan Elliot, DT
    Kyle Dugger, S

That's a pretty damn good Browns draft.

Pick 98 - New England Patriots select Ben Bartch, OT, St. John.

Bartch is a developmental guy who can sit behind Wynn and Cannon for a year. The ideal scenario is he replaces Cannon eventually and now you have a good young line to protect Stidham.

    Really good start.

Pick 100 is available for a slight move-down.

Yeah I was hoping he made it to 102 because I don't have the ammo to move up again. I'm confident that he's the Bills #1 target at #54 in real life

He wasn't making it past 98

The Giants select Trey Adams, T, Washington.

I think he could go earlier than we've been picking him. Giants need a tackle badly, biggest issue for Daniel Jones is he didn't have a lot of time. Their best guy is 68 year old Nate Solder. Adams is that guy that will be a STEAL if he finds a way to have a healthier pro career.

Sir, you and I may disagree on many, but I shall not allow even a modicum of negativity directed towards Nate Solder.

Look, he was a great spread offense blocker in his prime. That scheme in New England let him be more finesse than power (much like Matt Light) and took advantage of his great agility and footwork.

For the Giants' high frequency of singleback and I-form looks? At this age when he's slower and still not that strong? He's pretty bad lmao. Idk why they signed him even, he isn't a good fit.

This is beyond football. Nate Solder is objectively one of the best dudes in football who has had some of the worst shit happen to him and his family.

Granted, Trey Adams is more finesse than power right now, but that's only because he fell out of conditioning after multiple injuries. He definitely has the body to be a "strong guy".

Oh I didn't shit on him as a person haha. Never would do that. Was strictly talking football. Giants have an old-ish tackle who isn't a good fit and no one else even capable of being a decent starter.

  17. Browns had 3 picks in the 3rd and drafted 3 very physical defensive players.

DL: Myles - Elliott - Richardson - Vernon
LB: Goodson - Wilson - Harrison
CB: Ward - Williams - Johnson - Mitchell
    S: Joseph - Dugger - Sendejo - Redwine

They'd have a pretty fun defense to go with a stacked offense.

    Somehow 6-10.

Lol I know, I'm just a BIG Solder dude and come to his defense no matter what.

Pick 100, New England Selects Terrell Burgess, S, Utah

Patrick Chung is old, really the whole defense is. I'm in love with Burgess's versatility to play S/LB. The Patriots are notorious for getting beat by TEs and RBs so he's someone who can help.

The Patriots are looking to move up from 125 and will include a current 6th or a future 5th. Or, Mohammed Sanu.

  22. Seattle Seahawks select Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame

Seahawks get an absolute steal here and finally stop trying to thrive off NFCS castaways.
