@uuu I know you've been busy, but just letting you know there are a handful of trades that need to be added. Might start getting confusing if they aren't added to the front page.
Panthers got 76 from Washington for Curtis Samuel Panthers sent 76 + 113 to Tennessee for 61 Browns sent Njoku to Patriots for 87 Bills and Steelers had a trade with some picks that's all I can remember rn but I think there were maybe a couple more
Can you believe Samuel's luck? He finally gets in an offense that knows how to use him and they immediately trade him BACK to being misused.
haha sucks for him But I don't know if we can resign him. So, in the scenario we draft Ceedee, trading him makes more sense than keeping him.
The first 6 picks were kinda worst case scenario for Carolina. I could’ve gone OT but I think the team is actually happy with the tackle situation right now. So I went BPA.
I think BPA is OT at that point tbh haha I think Andrew Thomas should go in the top 8 at the latest, if not at 4 to the New York Giants (Granted they may prefer Wirfs or Becton)
I’d be stoked for the Jags to draft either one. After some consideration I like that a lot better than reaching for a second tier defensive player. Thomas is above Tua and Lamb for me so that should tell you how high I am on him. He’s my #5 prospect in this draft. Footwork like that on a perfectly sized T prospect coming right out of the gate is tremendously rare, and takes a lot of stress off of coaching in terms of him developing properly. Imo he is an unusually low risk / high floor pick compared to the typical first round tackle.
This was kinda my thinking. I knew I could get defensive talent later. I ended up with the best receiver in the draft plus Igbinoghene and Raekwon. I like that more than reaching for one of the middle first round defensive guys. Although, a trade down would be my absolute preference.
Green Bay Packers select Troy Pride Jr., CB, Notre Dame After losing Tramon Williams in free agency, the Packers fill a need here. Pride should compete with Josh Jackson for the CB3 role. The Packers are also thinking ahead to 2021, as Kevin King is entering a contract year.
Nobody wants our draft picks though. There's 4 good tackles available so there's no scarcity that high in the draft; This WR class is very deep so trading up for Lamb / Jeudy isn't economical either; Love / Herbert aren't good enough to trade up for. Ergo, we are both better off just taking an offensive stud and calling it a day
Alrighty. In my scenario, the Chiefs have signed Chris Jones because he is a top 10 DL in the league already and just now entering his prime. As long as I'm GM, I'm not going to Dave Caldwell my elite players. Kansas City selects Josh Uche, EDGE, Michigan Uche is an underrated pass rush prospect for a 3-4. Probably one of JIm Harbaugh's best products at Michigan. He sets the edge, he's a reliable tackler, he rarely wastes footsteps, shows fast hand-eye coordination in trench battles, he has brilliant flexibility and closing speed. His performance at the Senior Bowl stood out to me, that dude is ready to make an impact on passing downs year one. Chiefs just got rid of both Dee Ford and Justin Houston last year so it's time to get scary again off the edge. Fuck Frank Clark but Uche & Clark is a strong pair on the field.
@socklord Hawks up again. I really don't want you to take my Bengals guy... but there's another guy that would be really satisfying to draft too so fuck it lol
lol I don't know This is why I keep saying update the trades. Because people like me will forget some of them.
Seattle Seahawks select Curtis Weaver, DE, Boise State High upside pass rusher to replace Frank Clark and, possibly, partner up with Clowney to make a formidable edge duo
