The Philadelphia Eagles select Troy Dye, LB, Oregon. The Eagles address one of their biggest needs sooner rather than later as their next pick isn't until the end of the third round. Dye is athletic and has a lot of range, which is something the Eagles desperately need in the middle of their defense.
New York Jets - Marlon Davidson, DE, Auburn Buffalo Bills (via PIT) - Jonathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin Chicago Bears - Matt Hennessy, C, Temple Dallas Cowboys - Julian Okwara, DE, Notre Dame Los Angeles Rams - Isaiah Wilson, T, Georgia Philadelphia Eagles - Troy Dye, ILB, Oregon Pittsburgh Steelers (via BUF) - Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia Last 7 picks. And yes it is @dorfmac up next
Pick 57. Patriots select Brandon Aiyuk WR, Arizona State. Tempted to go defense here, but I also love what Aiyuk can bring to a Stidham lead offense. Between Harry, Aiyuk, Sanu and Njoku, someone should be able to set up and be a legitimate number 2 option to free up Edelman from 8 on 1 coverage lol There’s also something I love about having Harry and Aiyuk together again. A little locker room cohesion wouldn’t kill the pats after a three year coup.
Seattle Seahawks select JK Dobbins, RB, Ohio State A contingency plan in case the Hawks don't re-sign Carson/Penny still is underwhelming.
Ravens go Terrell Lewis, EDGE, Alabama Back to back on pass rush while ignoring WR and IOL. Went BPA and the reality is even if Judon sticks around this season, who knows what happens when he finally reaches free agency. probably won't want to stick around. If we do sign him to an extension this spring/summer, then our pass rush was so depleted that double dipping makes sense anyway.
Carolina Panthers select Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama Raekwon Davis is a big dude. 6'7" and over 300 pounds. He is strong as fuck and actually pretty quick for his size. His production as an interior pass rusher has declined during his Bama career but he was always been a great run defender. The Panthers have been fucking awful against the run ever since we let Star walk. Kawann Short hasn't been the same since then either. Raekwon is a nice compliment to Short and will hopefully help make Short dominant again. A real chance to be a week one starter.
