He had some throws in pre-season that wowed me. I’m ready to go with him assuming we get him help. He’s not Brady. He’ll need more around him.
That would be such a power move to trade up in the second and NOT take Herbert, who is still on the board. I’d get not going QB if 4 fly off the board in the first.
The Bears select Damon Arnette, CB, THE Ohio State University. Feels like everyone at a position of need here was a bit of a reach but this should generally be a plug-and-play pick for the Bears, and if Arnette is a late-bloomer then they might get really good value out of this pick. Pick #50 is still available for trade up. @whitenblue88 Colts
Colts select Ezra Cleveland, OT, Boise St Sticking with this take that the Colts are gunning hard after Cleveland. Colts have few glaring holes, which allows them to grab the heir apparent to the olds on their roster. Cleveland tested very well, has the measurables (namely the long arm span) Ballard has historically drafted in OL, and has ties to the OL staff. Plus, he’s the only player besides Love I’ve seen with multiple reported visits with IND.
The Tampa Bay Bucs select Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB, LSU. We added AD but he's old and this offense is already pretty complete except for the glaring hole at RB. Clyde projects as a lead back, but was also flexed out wide to create mismatches in the passing game, similar to Brady has done with James White. Trent Williams, Adrian Peterson, Javon Kinlaw and now Clyde Edwards-Helaire are all able to contribute from day 1, as the Tompa Bay Bucs don't have a moment to waste.
CEH is every Brady back all in one deceptively small package. I'd totally expect that to be the pick.
That’s wild lol if I was you I would’ve EASILY traded up for Love tbh But hey if you were the Jags you’d target Tua so. Hahaha it’s the same on both sides
Tua is a muuuuuuuuuuch better prospect than Jordan Love. Kinda apples and oranges there. Also, the Patriots IRL are seemingly going all-in on Stidham so I'm being realistic. Furthermore, I went out and got him help as opposed to saying loading up the defensive line to help out a young QB. BRING YOUR JAGS SMOKE I GOT TIME TODAY RANDALL
Play with Minshew, he's good, you win, nice: Got a QB. Play with Minshew, he's trash, you lose, nice: Fire everybody and start over.
Jags need to go all in on 2021 draft. I'd opt to trade back if you can. Pick up a first or two. Trade Yannick for a next year's first. A team like Minnesota would happily trade up to the Jags first pick. If they could snag a next year's first out of that, they suddenly have four first round picks next year.
This is correct. What Randall is alluding to was a scenario where Tua got to the 2nd round, which is def not happening, and the Jags pass on him twice and I said no chance lol
