Love made sense though. You have to do it at that point lol Ceedee and Noah is a draft I’d be shocked to see from Carolina but I think it’d be fun. It’s still improving the team, just not in the way everyone is expecting to improve.
Lions select A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson While Trufant is a decent signing to shore up the secondary after the Slay trade, the Lions need more help at CB, and getting Terrell here is great value and helps reform a defense that got gashed last year.
Cleveland Browns select Lloyd Cushenberry III, IOL, LSU He is the best player available on my list and he fills a big need for Cleveland. Their OL was awful last season. One of the many reasons the offense severely underperformed. Jedrick Wills and Lloyd Cushenberry along with the signing of Jack Conklin should make the Browns much, much better. Now it's on Baker to prove himself.
*** Trade Alert *** The New England Patriots trade pick #87 to the Cleveland Browns for David Njoku, TE. We passed on Herbert twice. It's Stidham's team. And if you think Bill Belichick is going to tank you're crazy. We're gonna win without Tom Brady, and this move solidifies our weakest position group. Njoku, Adam Shaheen is an improvement over the trash we had last year. With the extra comp picks we have, 87 was expendable.
Hey, so far it's going pretty well. Got the #2 guy on our board, got 2 additions to the TE group, picked up a 2nd rounder, still have 2 3rds and a 4th left over to round it out.
Win-win trade imo New England gets their athletic TE. Browns get a nice pick for their TE2. They can find someone to fill that role fairly easily and use the extra third rounder in a bigger position of need.
Curtis Samuel is potentially on the block. I really don't want to trade him, but it would make sense after the Ceedee pick. DJ and Curtis will both need new deals fairly soon and I doubt we resign both. So, drafting a guy like Ceedee and then trading Samuel isn't a bad idea. So I'll take offers if anyone is interested.
Jacksonville Jaguars select Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama Best corner available and one of the best scheme fits in the draft. He's got some rough edges to polish out but he's got strong potential to develop into a reliable starter.
i've done like 15 simulations on the draft network site and i keep getting stuck with the same damn players no matter how things shake out.
No. But yes. I'm the Creative Director for the tri-state areas largest pool builder. We're considered construction, and I'm senior management. We actually have a super bare bones staff and we all have our own individual offices. My boss is doing a really good job keeping the paychecks coming to everyone while also taking this seriously. It's just been nuts because the workload is the same but the staff is smaller. And I wrapped up branding and a website for a pizza company last night.
