Even then might not have the best offer *shrug* Yannick is better than any pass rusher left on the board. Legit would rather sign him to a big deal than draft Epenesa.
Also, how could anybody look at what Corey Davis has done in three years now and think he still has "high upside?" lmao
Bengals gotta stay consistent as an organization I guess I mean, when you get the chance to pair Corey Davis with John Ross for an ultimate duo of disappointment, you just gotta do it
By all metrics he’s been a clearly top 15 and borderline top 10 pass rusher in the league since he was drafted. He has the third most forced fumbles in that time span, ran a low 4.5 dash, and is only 24 years old. He is also not hitting the market this year and likely won’t make it to next year without being traded. He is absolutely worth a first round pick.
Right but the Dolphins have a chance to build a good young core. Paying Yannick doesn’t help with that
In Randall's defense, Ngakoue is definitely young and he's also proven. However, with the recent moves the Dolphins have made, I don't think more pass rush is what they're looking for
look I love Ngakuoue lets see how this shakes out. With them signing Van Noy and Lawson, EDGE isn't as big of a need as it was a few days ago
That’s fair and I understand that. A first round pick is a lot for a position that isn't one of your needs. Also understand that I think us not signing Ngakoue is stupid and I’m not letting him go for less than he’s worth haha. I’m not Caldwell and I wouldn’t have traded Campbell for that damn fifth either. A guy who is annually geting 10 sacks / 4-5 forced fumbles, with elite burst & agility, who hasn’t even turned 25 or hit his peak yet, is not leaving this building after Day One. i trust other teams need pass rusher enough to offer his value. This DE class is thin at the top.
