The Cincinnati Bengals select Jeaux Burreaux, QB, LSU Jeaux Burreaux is the best QB prospect in 8 years and just posted the best single season in CFB history. He is incredibly smart, passionate, and rallies a team around him. His lack of arm strength and hand size is pretty much the only bad thing you can say about him and even then that's a stretch. His ball placement is already in the upper tier of the NFL. How many throws really travel for 60+ yards anyway?
The Washington Bonercats select Chase Young, DL, Ohio State. After several attempts at trading out of this pick to maximize the roster, Washington "settles" for drafting arguably the best player in the draft. Not an awful way to take an L. Quoting from NFL.com: "Elite size, length and athleticism created loads of production and a vaulted pro projection, but Young's set of disruptive properties have yet to be fully weaponized. He's fairly basic as a pass rusher, with just a couple of go-to moves and an occasional inside counter, and yet he still managed 16.5 sacks in 2019." Young gives the Bonercats someone to orient their defense around along with Montez Sweat as they attempt to finally successfully rebuild.
@Randall Mentzos - Making sure you saw this Trade. Chargers traded with Lions Chargers give: 2020 first 2020 third 2021 first Lions give: 2020 first @socklord is on the clock.
oh I didn't know that was official well there goes Tua probs but Miami cannot be trading their 2021 1st IMO
After a trade with the Detroit Lions for the third overall pick, the Los Angeles Chargers are selecting Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama. The Chargers get their franchise QB of the future to replace Philip Rivers. When you're playing in a division with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, you can't be trotting guys like Tyrod Taylor out there at QB and expect to compete for the division. Tua gives the Chargers their best shot at competing sooner rather than later, especially with a roster filled with great players on both offense and defense that is ready to win now. Now @uuu and the New York Giants are officially on the clock.
with the 5th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Jedrick Wills, OT, Alabama with the apple of their eye QB off the board, the Dolphins do not "settle" at QB and decide to beef up their roster instead
Just a reminder, Yannick Ngakoue is available for a first round pick. He will have an extremely competitive market after his franchise tag so the rights to sign him first are being offered a year early for a 1.
