Raiders select Isaiah Hodgins, WR, Oregon State Raiders took Lamb already, now it's time for a big possession receiver. He's not fast but he is quick, displaying good elusiveness and creativity at his route stems & showing a penchant for winning on double moves. He's also a consistent hands-catcher with good extension and the ability to hold onto tough passes in traffic. I see Hodgins as a savvy, reliable receiver who makes the most of his average athleticism. At 6'4" he's got the catch radius and strong hands to be a solid back shoulder / red zone target on the outside for Jacob Eason, who can also work the middle on third down.
Colts select Dalton Keene, TE, Virginia Tech Colts need a receiving TE to replace Ebron. Keene is among the most athletic options in this draft class, and Ballard tends to draft athletic pass catchers with limited route trees, which describes Keene to a T
Carolina Panthers select Justin Strnad, LB, Wake Forest I'm a big fan of Strnad at this point in the draft. He's a very well-rounded LB. Not elite at anything but solid in all phases. High motor. Shows a ton of potential in his coverage skills. Teams will love him.
Go big or go home right? I just edited in all the rest of the picks in the draft including the two late trades lol. It'll be so easy to copy/paste all this for the final Mock Draft too.
Also, @Night Channels Patriots draft is so on brand. Round 1 Justin Herbert Round 3 KJ Hamler Brycen Hopkins Davon Hamilton Round 4 Kenny Willekes Round 6 literally five 6th round picks because he kept trading down lmao
It is very exciting that there is less than a month until the draft It is less exciting that I will leave my house/neighborhood a single digit number of times in that less than a month until the draft
Also wanna say that Raiders trade down actually makes sense because they don't have any 6th or 7th round picks this draft lol. That Jax 7th is their only one now in this mock.
