Also @xbrokendownx get ready for double pick. Once Socks picks i'll pick for the Raiders and then it's Dolphins x2
With the 151st pick, the Los Angeles Chargers select Harrison Hand, CB, Temple. Hand's got hands! While his man coverage could use some improvement, Hand's zone coverage skills should fit in perfectly with Gus Bradley's scheme in LA. Putting Hand into a secondary that already includes several playmakers in Casey Hayward, Desmond King, Chris Harris, and Derwin James is going to create nightmares for opposing offenses to throw the ball against. Now, the team elected to bring back Michael Davis at $3.2m this year though so Hand may not be a starting corner in year, but there is chatter that Hand could be converted to safety. Word has it that Harris chose to go to LA because he would return to the slot, where he plays best, and that King would be moving to safety. Having a safety trio of King, Hand, and last year's second round pick Nasir Adderley means that Bradley can play James in the box more as a tight end/running back eraser while Hayward, Harris, and Davis man the corner positions. The possibilities for Bradley's scheme seem endless. That is, until half the defensive backs succumb to injury midway through the season. It'll make for a great story over the first month or two of the season though! From The Draft Network:
Jaguars have traded picks 157 and 223 to the Las Vegas Raiders for pick 152. Jaguars select Reggie Robinson II, CB, Tulsa.
