This is why i love this site. Always good to get insight from people who actually know this stuff first hand haha
@socklord @Swoos @EntryLevelDave @ClarettsGreyGoose @xbrokendownx @Night Channels keep the write-ups coming I love the thorough descriptions of draft picks. We all are gonna go into this draft season knowing enough to really have legit opinions on picks until the later rounds.
I haven't traded up cause I can't decide. @Fucking Dustin offered me pick 88 and I was like nahhh I'll see how the board falls and I was right cause the guy I wanted to trade up for is still there, AND two others that i'd be super happy with too.
With the 110th overall pick, the Green Bay Packers select Raequan Williams, DT, Michigan State. ZaDarius Smith and Preston Smith were welcome additions to the Packers' pass rush unit this past season, but they could still improve along the defensive line. Kenny Clark is a good starter at nose tackle, but the Packers could stand to improve over Dean Lowry, Tyler Lancaster, Montravius Adams, and Kingsley Keke. Williams should immediately add a boost to this team's pass rush unit from the interior and. While he likely won't be a starter in the Packers' base 3-4 scheme, he'll see plenty of action in nickel/dime packages as nickel defense is becoming the new base defense in today's NFL and the Packers deployed a lot of dime personnel in 2019. From The Draft Network:
With the 112th overall pick, the Los Angeles Chargers select Jack Driscoll, OT, Auburn. The additions of RT Bryan Bulaga and RG Trai Turner should certainly help this offensive line out a ton, but there's still work to do on the left side of the line. Pass protection will be key to keeping QB Tua Tagovailoa up right in his rookie season. It's a lot to ask out of a day three pick to come in and start right away, but the Chargers don't have many other options unless they make a move for a free agent OT (perhaps Jason Peters?) and let Driscoll develop for a year. From The Draft Network:
The Denver Broncos select: Amik Robertson - Cornerback - Louisiana Tech Undersized standout mid-major corner. Tough as nails and one of the best run support defensive backs in this draft class. He'll need to move inside in the NFL due to size limitations but he's an absolute stud. Super productive. Gets his hands on the football and scores when he takes the ball away. Chris Harris' replacement in the slot.
It ya’ll wanna group pick for me here that’s cool or I can do it tomorrow morning but I’m sleepy so gnight.
