When the franchise is a poorly run shitheap, yes, but when you're talking about getting your QB of the future in the hopes that he can turn your franchise around, no it isn't. No one's gonna even remember all those picks if Sam Darnold leads the team back into relevancy. The problem if they have a dumb head coach and dumb roster management so they're wasting valuable time on Darnold's rookie contract.

I have Aspergers which hurts my communication in some ways and helps a TON in others, I've gotten quite a bit better at it online than I used to be even though I still have some big issues

I'm also wrong a lot though haha, sometimes I'm on point and sometimes I miss the point completely, it happens

Y'all have to understand Dustin is the only one here who stumps me to the point I can't continue to argue my point without being disingenous hahaha. It's nothing against y'all but I'm just stubborn and it takes a really complete rebuttal of my perspective for me to do a 180.

Trust me, Matt tries all the time lmao. You're all super smart but as you've said, Dustin communicates it in a way that covers all the bases.

 

This argument is far preferable to the one about running backs, that's for sure

 

Like, it's not just that he makes good points. It's that he embraces my logic and then uses my own logic against me / argues from that context. That side of the argument actually addressed me feeling like more picks = increased chances and I was like damn I didnt' look at it like that lol. Understanding where I'm coming from is huge to changing my mind.

When me and Matt argue, it's an impasse because he doesn't humor me on my plane of logic at all, he just rejects it haha.

 

I think it's because I don't have a strong desire to be right immediately, I want to be right later on, so I have no problem learning and trying to flesh out my thoughts as I go, and I'm perfectly okay with being wrong if it means I get more information for later. I haven't had stances on the argument at ALL, I've just gone with the flow and let my logic take me where it needed to go, and operated in the contexts of what y'all are saying rather than any stance I have, until it all clicked.
