Perfect fit for the Falcons and I also hate it because it's a perfect fit for their scheme that wastes guys like Uche.
Damn those last 8 pciks were quick. Greenard, Claypool, and EH were all guys I was targeting right here. Gonna shower then pick
With the 80th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Cameron Dantzler, CB, Mississippi State. Marcus Peters and Marlon Humphrey on the outside, Tavon Young in the slot, but no depth behind them with Jimmy Smith looking elsewhere and Brandon Carr cut. The Ravens have experienced what it's like having no depth at corner, and they don't like it. Dantzler had an outside shot at the first round before the combine but has dropped because a perceived lack of speed. Meanwhile, all he did in college was rack up pass breakups left and right. Hopefully, he'll show some more speed at his pro day and the Ravens would be thrilled to pick him up in the third round.
With the 81st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Jordyn Brooks, ILB, Texas Tech. He's not the next Ray Lewis by any stretch, but he'll be better than Patrick Onwuasor and the random guys we picked up off the street last season. Can Brooks hack it as a true MLB in the NFL? Apparently, that's a concern and he might need to play on the weakside. I don't know, that's just what I read, but you're not getting flawless prospects at this point and since he generally goes in the second round in mocks, this is a great value pick that fills a need. He finished his college career with 366 tackles, averaging 92 a season. If he can do that with the Ravens, we'd be thrilled.
really bummed i coudn't snag greenard there. should have traded up, i guess! @uuu and the jerry squad is up
I'm really happy with my Bonercats and Cardinals drafts. Browns is just offensive lineman really haha
I'm happy with my teams so far. I personally would have tried trading back from 21 for the Eagles, but I'm cool with Justin Jefferson. Speaking of the Eagles, they are still interested in moving up. My third round pick and fourth round picks are on the table, as well as big ol' Alshon
I’m gonna say it - Justin Jefferson is a bargain at 21 and he’s bound to be a bargain this year cause he’s really not that far behind Jeudy My only concern watching his film was that he may not be twitchy and fast enough to get open in the NFL. Combine disproved that. He’s a phenomenal possession receiver and also a pretty clean route runner.
Jefferson’s ball skills > Jefferson’s athleticism > And he also came from an offense that polished his route running. I think with Joe Brady in the picture I don’t necessarily assume Alabama’s coaching and preparation trumps LSU’s this year.
I'd be okay with it and won't be surprised if it happens. I'm just concerned about other holes on the roster at CB and LB, as well as securing promising depth at S, IOL, and maybe even along the defensive line
Jeudy is the most nuanced receiver mentally but Jefferson is not that far behind and I think Jefferson is a better athlete / better hands in traffic.
