I'm gonna save the world a lot of time and start calling Cole Kmet "Comet" cause you know that's gonna be his natural nickname if he's good
That something called Minshew posted the best QBR of any QB throwing 20+ air yards. So yeah, they should be worried lmao
Excuse me, GARDNER has an excellent name. And excellent anticipation on downfield throws. Minshew isn't worried about Dolphins he literally gets to throw to D.J. SHARK
if we're talking about the same tweet, that was posted in here and he was actually 6th or 7th with a relatively small sample size. Wasn't that the same graph where I said "Russell Wilson's 35 out of 71 is way more impressive than Minshew's 19 out of 40 even though the percentages are similar" I mean being ranked 6th or 7th still means he's throwing deep when it's smart to do so and being accurate about it. He doesn't HAVE to do it often. But he's not #1.
Ohhhh okay no, the one I was talking about had a table that showed "accuracy percentage" on deep throws. So it showed completions & attempts over 20 yards, and then adjusted the percentage for how many drops there were. Minshew was 6th or 7th on that table with 40 attempts, and I pointed out that it was good but he also didn't throw as many as other QB in the top 10 who are known for their deep ball.
Just trying to be fair though, I mean you know my emotional gut reaction is to be like "MINSHEW MIGHT BE ELITE ONE DAY" hahaha
