Considered him for the Bills to kick Cody Ford in to guard until scouting reports said he's only going to thrive in a zone blocking scheme. I'm not 100% certain they're using a power blocking scheme again, but I assume they are considering they gave Juan Castillo the boot before last season.
Vikings select Netane Muti, G, Fresno St Cut Josh Kline this offseason too and they need a replacement IOL.
Muti + Jackson was my plan for the Hawks. Seattle Seahawks select Bryce Hall, CB, Virginia I love the fit of Hall in Carroll's scheme opposite Griffin.
I shit you not, I almost selected Hall for the Eagles, but then I realized that I knew better than to inflict that upon myself
Me, to Randall's trade offer "I don't want to trade down too far and miss my guy for the Bills" Me, reading this pick
Oh yeah. Anyone who needs a quality corner this draft needs to get that done before the end of round 2. This is why Diggs falling to my second round pick was so ideal haha
I still like a couple corners on the board, but yeah, I probably would have gone CB with one of these second rounders had I known the Colts were gonna cut Desir. I’m guessing their current depth chart is: LCB: Ya-Sin RCB: Moore Slot: Tell and everyone else on the roster is probably not on the final 53, including Quincy Wilson
Muti is strong as hell but that guy is held together with duct tape. I love him as a player but he is one of the most injury prone prospects to enter the draft in a long time. I wonder how long he'll be able to play.
Arnette is awful in single coverage. Bryce Hall is scheme dependent. I think they're both maxed out athletically too. AJ Terrell is still one of the more underrated players in this draft because of what JaMarr Chase did against him. I do feel like he's a much better fit in a Cover 3 scheme though. After the top four (Okudah/Henderson/Gladney/Fulton), I'm taking traits over everything. Diggs/Igbinoghene/Terrell are in that category.
I agree with most of that but I might like Bryce Hall more than you do I mean he is scheme dependent and not really a man-to-man all game kind of CB, but if you call a lot of zone he's one of the best options after round 1 imo. As an athlete he'll never be a good hitter but his closing speed & acceleration to the ball are legit.
I'm sure Okudah, Fulton, and Henderson will be gone by the time the Eagles pick at 21, but I'm hoping they can come away with Gladney, Diggs, or Terrell at some point in the first or second round. After those first three, they are the next three that has stood out most to me from what I've read up and heard about them.
ALSO, it’d be with their second pick in each draft! Lol But for real, their OL is such trash. They need depth on depth.
