With the 53rd overall pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah.

While the Eagles made great strides in rebuilding their CB room when they traded for Darius Slay, questions remain for the other two remaining starting roles at the position. Avonte Maddox and Cre'Von LeBlanc figure to compete for the starting slot corner role, but there is a dire need at outside corner. Sidney Jones was traded to the Jaguars in this make-believe mock and Rasul Douglas is apparently on the trading block in real life. Jalen Mills was inexplicably brought back on a year-year deal to play some combination of corner and safety, but the Eagles can do better.

54 from Buffalo is worth 360, throw in their 5th (#167?) at 23.4 and we're at 383.4 total. 63 and 96 from KC are worth 276 and 116, totalling 392.

This was actually my other target at 32 if Gladney went off the board before I picked. The Chiefs get the replacement for Chris Jones, should they have to let him walk instead of paying him long term

 

If the Bills hadn't just traded for Diggs and had a pick at 22 instead I might have done this

Future HOFer Marshall Yanda recently retired leaving a hole in the OLine. The pick is either Shane Lemieux out of Oregon or Solomon Kindley from the Bulldogs of Georgia. Any GM who knows anything knows that the best college football is played in the South, and that a third-string Georgia O-Lineman would likely start for half of the PAC-12. Therefore, Solomon Kindley, G, UGA is the selection.

Also considered DE, LB, CB with the pick.
